The Charlotte Comprehensive Plan was completed in 1997 and found consistent with the Comprehensive Planning and Land Use Regulation Act (the Growth Management Act) in February of 1998.

A copy of the plan in paper format is available at the town office (454-2114).

The digital format copy of the Comprehensive Plan is an extremely large file (64MB PDF file) and is not posted on this site. You can obtain a CD ROM copy of the Comprehensive Plan from the Calais office of the Washington County Council of Governments (454-0465) for a nominal fee to prepare and ship the CD.
